    • Direct and hire for 9-11 Product Design Ops designers and managers in Toronto/Germany and lines to Japan.• Direct budget of 1.7M for staff, tools, and research.• Direct the ‘What/How’ and enable the 'Why'.• Establish Design Sprints and Thinking.• Establish strategic KPIs for Acquisition, Retention, Profit, and OPEX.• Establish delivery KPIs for CTR, EAU, Bounce, Sessions, Conversion, and Task Success.• Lead Product Design Townhalls, Status and Velocity Reports.• Lead quality control for prototypes, wires, UI, flows, and interaction.• Change management by evaluating overhead/ hand-offs.

    • Managed savings of 27%, reducing OPEX expenses of $450K/year (1.7 to 1.3M).• Managed design epics for Notifications, Navigation, Onboarding, Library, Discovery, eReading, Audiobooks, Subscriptions/ A la carte.• Managed software releases for hardware devices, Kobo Forma and Kobo Clara.• Reduced OPEX expenses with a Design System, reducing startup time by 50% (1W to 2.5D) and artifact creation time by 33% (3 to 2W).• Establishing new practices: OKRs, Opp Trees, Design Sprints, Design Studios, PIE, JTBD, 5Whys, How Might We, LIFT, AIDA.• Increased design velocity by 65% (29 to 48Pts) by converting team members to Product Designers, reducing delivery hand-offs by 66% (7 to 2) and save/invest 130K/Y.• Increased designer morale by over 99% (30 to 59/100) using bi-monthly team health checks.• Decreased turnover from 63% 2017/18 to 9% 2019.• Increased designer technical capabilities by over 140% (625 to 1500/3000 skill score).• Created/ led 2 Global UX Summits (Asia, North America, Europe Offices).• Created buy-in for design thinking+lean+agile with leads and PMO.
